Our Picnic Day Boats are the ideal way to explore the hidden delights of the Norfolk Broads. They are easy to get on and off. Offering full protection from any changes in the weather. Great for families young and old, suitable for up to 7 people (total includes babies and toddlers). Available to hire by the half or full day. Start times are 8.30 am, 9.30 am, 12.30 pm or 1.30pm

Toilet & running water (not potable).
Kettle provided. (Please bring your own crockery and cutlery)

Yes, you can bring a max of 2 dogs with you It’s worth remembering some dogs love being on a boat, but not all. We recommend bringing a dog bed with you. We would recommend the Brinklets for dogs as these are the easiest for them to get on and off.

There is a speed limit between 3 and 5 mph in this part of the Broads National Park. This is designed to protect the wildlife on the banks from wash caused by boats.

"We really loved the cottage Grebe we had everything in there we could possibly need, the heating was on and it was very cosy. Hubby loved fishing outside and caught many little fish and a big pike. The only thing that I would point out is you need a little more light as you walk along the water from the cottage to where the car was parked as the path was very uneven and both myself and hubby tripped and nearly ended up in the water in the dark. I really appreciated the lovely hamper and champagne which was given to us as we took a boat out with them last year full of treats and breakfast food. We will definitely be coming back."
