Today, Wednesday 1st August ’12, we are launching our new river based Treasure Hunt from Wroxham to Coltishall along the River Bure on the Norfolk Broads – search for clues, test your general knowledge of the riverbank, and keep the children entertained while enjoying a few hours out on the Broads.

The 25 ‘clue based’ Treasure Hunt is based on safety, nature and boating in general. The return trip to Coltishall takes between three and four hours, allowing time to moor up for a picnic, pub lunch or just to stretch your legs.
This is a beautiful stretch of river, the water quality is very good which encourages wildlife and makes it an ideal for spotting Otters and even the elusive Kingfisher. It also tends to be a bit quieter with river traffic as many of the larger cruisers cannot pass through the low bridge at Wroxham.
If you are hiring a Day Boat there is no additional charge to take part, simply ask at the Barnes Brinkcraft Day Boat Office when you arrive and hand your completed sheet in when you return.
