Hours
2 to 4 days a week (inc Saturdays)
Workdays are Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday
Standard hours are 9 am to 3 pm
We are able to be flexible with start and finish times to tailor around parents with young children at school
We are able to accommodate time off during school holidays for families, on a request basis
You will need to work some bank holidays and for the majority of the school holidays
You will usually work in pairs or a group
Experience
Whilst we would like people who have experience, we are happy to offer on the job training for the right person.

£9.60 per hour (dependant on age)
Dates
Start date – Easter School Holidays – end date October
This is a temporary job but could lead to a permanent position as we do keep cleaning staff on over the winter months

Boatyard Hand – Year Round
During the Holiday Season
We are looking for someone willing to run around, off and on boats, all day, moving, cleaning and prepping them all morning, then showing customers on board in the afternoon. You may be showing customers how to use boats by the end of the summer.
5 days a week including Saturdays and the occasional Sunday (day off during the week)
During the Winter Season
You’ll be getting the boats, houses and yard ready for next year’s customers. Scrubbing and polishing up the boat hulls, painting the houses and helping with maintenance on the yard
It’s not a job for the shy or easily exhausted, and you will be expected to turn your hand to lots of varied tasks. It is, however, a lot of fun, and you would be working outdoors (or in the maintenance Shed in winter) and with a great team.
Winter hours are 5 days a week Monday to Friday – unless you would rather work Saturdays and have a day off mid week
Bonus
You will be able to use the hire boats and day boats when available
Option for Progression
The right person could join our boat building or mechanic apprenticeship scheme
