Brinks Prelude is the newest addition to our Fleet. Her electric drive provides enough power for an average day cruising on the Norfolk Broads.
Just boost the batteries with her auxiliary diesel engine or save fuel and connect to shore power when needed.

Even better, the electric engine whispers. All you’ll hear when cruising along is the sound of the water hitting the bow and the prop churning.

The top deck provides a comfortable seating area for the whole family, including a picnic table and two sun loungers.
We can configure the cabins as four double beds or two double beds and four single beds. You’ll find lovely big queen-size beds in the fore and aft cabins. The saloon seating converts into a large double bed if guests stay for an evening.
Each bathroom has a separate, full-height shower cubicle. So you don’t need to hide your loo roll before taking a shower on this boat.
The galley kitchen is very well provisioned. It holds two full-size fridges, an induction hob, a full-size electric oven and a microwave. A cut above the usual facilities on board many hire boats.
We are sure you will agree that this is a very spacious saloon. With loads of light from the electric sunroof. Very comfortable upholstery and tinted privacy windows beautifully framing the Norfolk Broads.
The bathing platform at the rear of the boat makes for easy access to rowing boats and paddleboards. Strategically placed toe holds and grab rails make moving around the boat a breeze.
The bow and stern thrusters (little propellers at the front and back of the boat) make mooring almost effortless. You can even get this boat to move sideward!
At night, turn on the LED deck lights. You don’t need to rely on the moon to find your way back on board in the dark.
Oh, and we provide boosted mobile wifi on board (no download limit)

Frequently Asked Questions
No, you don’t need to have any experience or special licences to hire a Broads Cruiser. On arrival, we will give you a full demonstration of how to use, drive and moor the boat. You will also receive videos of how to handle a boat before you arrive.
We provide a manual (electronically and in hard copy onboard) to help you enjoy your holiday.
Our experienced crew will be happy to answer your questions before you leave the yard.
We would recommend at least one member of your crew have good mobility for moving about the deck and mooring.
On arrival at the boatyard, find yourself a temporary parking space outside reception.
A member of our team will direct you to your boat, getting your car as near as possible to the boat so you can unpack
Once you are ready, make your way back to reception with your car keys and paperwork for check-in.
We’ll book you in for your trial run at that point. We customise your tuition to suit your needs.
If the boat is not quite ready, we’ll take your mobile telephone number and contact you as soon as you can go onboard.
