If the UK Government public health measures mean that it is unlawful for you to travel. Or we are unable to provide your boat or holiday home, we offer the following:-
- Refund
- Refund the full amount you have paid for your booking
- Transfer
- Barnes Brinkcraft can transfer your holiday to a later date (no admin fees). Please be aware that if the cost of your new accommodation is higher than your original booking, then you’ll need to pay the difference
- Price Match – Should you transfer your holiday to similar dates next year we will price match your booking
We will refund those that are self-isolating if they have notification from the NHS Test and Trace Service. Without notification, we will transfer your holiday or day boat booking to a future date

Booked a holiday last year with Barnes Brinkcraft, but due to the current situation, we couldn’t go. The swap and refund policy was fantastic, there was no quibbling about a refund and was done the same day, unlike some larger international companies. We will be rebooking in the future when we are able to go. I really could not recommend this company enough.
Whilst we might not be able to turn around all refunds or rebookings on the same day, we will act as quickly as we are able

This includes both dayboat hire and boating and cottage holidays. And is an addition to our regular terms and conditions
